Season 3, episode 36.
Original air date: 30 April 1951.
Cast: Beatrice Straight (Charlotte), John Newland (Kenneth), Helene Dumas (Mrs. Ashby), Parker McCormick (Dorothy), Frank Gallop (Your Narrator) and Ralph Ball (Announcer).
This live episode came up a few minutes short, so to fill out the half hour, a public service announcement for the 1951 American Cancer Society crusade is read.

disappointing
It would be tragic if anybody's first exposure to the TV version of Lights Out happened to be this episode, as it might easily be their last. The little supernatural plays in most episodes uploaded to the archive are very cleverly and skillfully staged for live TV, but this episode falls short on all fronts. Wide-eyed and utterly mindless melodrama replete with ham fisted technical management of both camera and sound. If I really thought most of what was lost of live TV looked like this, I wouldn't mourn it!
